Anybody else having good results with Facebook ads?

I'm still very new to email marketing. I bought the Inbox Blueprint which I think is pretty great and I'm now ready to put things into practice.

I have chosen a niche within health and fitness, have my auto responder series set up with offers to promote and now want to get some leads.

Paid traffic is always what i've wanted to use. So I thought i'd start with Facebook.

So far I've ran 3 ads. Only one was successful. In 24 hours it got me my first 3 subscribers but cost just over $7.

I'm quite pleased as it's obviously working but the numbers are way off at the moment. I'm guessing I don't really want to be paying over a dollar per lead. I've tweaked the ad and running again.

There's loads of guides out there Facebook advertising seems to be updated quite often and leaving a lot of the guides out of date. So i guess it's trial and error for me and my niche.

BTW, the ad is promoting a free ebook. I also have a related affiliate offer on the thank you page.

Any advice from anyone who's having good results on Facebook would be much appreciated.

    Who do you want to attract? Men, women, eldery, kids? Each can be subniched in fitness.

    You can target your FB ads to

    People who like XYZ

    so maybe look for popular celebrities in the niche like Jillian Michaels or the P90x guy and set your ad to show to

    People who like Jillian Michaels

    The Biggest Loser

    Beachbody

    And you can have your ad show only to women above 20 or men above 40 or people with a high school degree.

    Weeklyes, nice suggestion I must say.. Facebook ad campain, its not very hard thing .. The tough one is to decide who are the terget audience..

    I've spent $300 on FB ads, this was after I bought 1 cent FB clicks and applied what Jani I think it is taught. Didn't make a cent. Is solo ads better? Can anybody suggest something that can get me good traffic?

    I don't think people are interested in ebooks anymore. Internet users get boored by books with survey PPD locked.

    Facebook Marketing can be targeted, any targeted traffic is good if they find your business worth it. You can monetize traffic if you have a good product or service.

    Hey Lex,

    I offer a PHYSICAL product ... which I know is not something everyone can do when starting out.

    But as someone else said ... ebooks are boring as F*CK.

    Offer a video ... or video series ... that's much sexier than a 97 page ebook.

    Also make sure you're ad is on point ... if you want to send it over to me I'll take a look at it.
