Best Social Networking Site for Internet Marketing?

Hey Warriors,

I was wondering what might be the best social networking site out there. I have heard lately, or in some recent posts I read, that Twitter might not be so good anymore. It has lots of spam and people don't really click the links anymore. Is this true?

Otherwise, what would you recommend? Where should be the starting point if you want to market squeeze pages, landing pages...NOT websites. I just want to know about SP and LP. I have read of some very good ways to boost your followers list quickly but I just want to know which social network would be the best to do this.

Thanks for any opinions, advice, help.

Regards, Sven

"Landing page" and "squeeze page". (Or sometimes "lumbar puncture" and "secondary polycythemia", depending on the context.)

A "landing page" is the simply the page on which you arrange for any given kind of traffic, from any source, to "land". It's up to you what your landing page is, or what you choose to use as a landing page for your traffic. A landing page can be a squeeze page; it can be a sales page; it can be an article; it can be the home page of a blog; it can be a content-rich page; it can be anything you like. If it's where your traffic "lands", on clicking a link, then it's a "landing page". Don't imagine that all landing pages are trying to sell something, or trying to get people to opt in.

A "squeeze page" is one very specific type of opt-in page: it's a page which contains a prominently incentivized opt-in (usually text, but it can be video/audio instead or as well) and no other content. Those last four words are the key part of the definition: the idea of a squeeze page is that there are no other exits from it, no leaks at all, and (apart from the back button and the window-closing button) no option other than submitting contact information. Don't imagine that all pages with an opt-in on them are squeeze pages.

I don't think it is so much which social media platform is the best. It is more to do with how you build and integrate with an audience. If you build your audience slowly and organically over a period of years and interact and reciprocate following and sharing etc, you will have a far more active and useable social media experience than if you simply added as many people as possible without following back and sent promotions all day.

So I think all the main platforms have their positives and negatives, it's how you use them that's more important.

I see your pint there. It simply takes and effort to build up a very active, ever sharing social network community. There's no real quick method. Probably you can get the followers more quickly but you will still need to invest a lot of time to build a relationship with your followers.
With the given time, you can make something out of anything. In the end, you get what you put in.

I am using Facebook ads to driving the traffic to my fans page (Ads will be more cheaper than u driving to outside). Then, in the inside fans page i am giving the value and information. And sometimes i using PLR to attract people to my LP or SP.

I think with this funnel we can take care the relationship with the customer.
