Marketing Newbie here... FB Click thru rate question

I'm currently trying to get the hang of online marketing of tee spring campaigns via FB ads. I just began the ad this morning. I narrowed my potential audience to approx. 1.2M. Because of my design I'm targeting LSU fans and in Louisiana and surrounding states.

So I wanted to know...
1. What is an ideal click-thru rate %?
2. What is an ideal audience size? I know having a focused audience is important. I've hear ranges from 400,000-1,000,000.

    Hey, as begining, there is a HUGE difference in each market, but i suggest you to target for a 1.5% CTR and audience size depends what bidding type u work but if you start with oCPM, do it from 300,000 to 500,000 maximum.

    after you running your campaign with a good budget, try lookalike for this audience + retargeting
