Yeah Most of the weight loss offers are not going through FB these days .They approve about 1 in 10 offers for weight loss niche.

Did you get the same message : "Your ad was not approved because the text violates the Rules of Facebook advertising on advertisements for services or web dating sites."

Have you checked what % of text is in the ad? You can have an ad rejected if your text exceeds more than 20% of the ad in question. I believe there is a resource (try Google) to look for Facebook ad grid that will check eligibility.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards

      Rob,
it's not a question of % text on the ad.
this is the FB message : "Your ad was not approved because the text violates the Rules of Facebook advertising on advertisements for services or web dating sites."

If your website only has 1 squeeze page that is trying to get people's personal information, there is a high chance you get ads rejected.

I get the dating site autoreponse on most of my ads for a particular website I run. I don't know if it is something on the site or something in the domain that is causing it. I assume it is some sort of automated thing.

I use link they send in the email to ask for a review. I tell them that my site is not a dating site. And that I have reviewed all of their terms and policies and can't seem to figure out what is causing my ads to be disapproved. It usually takes a week or so, but I get an email back saying my ad was disapproved in error and has been approved.

There have been times where this happened, and then in the same minute I got the disapproval email again with the same dating site information.

I've even used as that were a photo of an apple, with the text they recommend you use for a weight loss ad and it still got disapproved. I dunno sometimes.

I'm about to launch a new campaign to the same site. This time, not mentioning a word about weight nor loss. We'll see.

Probably due to the text-image rules. I believe there can't be more than 20% text on your images, so if you have ads where there is more than a couple of small words of text, they will reject them.

My advice - don't use images with text on them, use the title and description areas for text. If you're images are quality and relevant, then they shouldn't need text.

Are you using text as your image? If so, that's part of your problem. I have 2 ads running right now that are getting me double opt in subscribers at $0.16 a piece.

You've gotta think a little outside the box...the end goal is weight loss. But don't use that in your ad. Do you have a giveaway?

      1. i tried both : an ad with just text ,an other with just an apple image and an other one with a balance on the image ad.
All were rejected saying that ads doesn't respect dating sites rules!
2.Yes i have a free report on my squeeze page, can this cause a pb ?

It's only a waste of money if you aren't profiting from it. I'm currently making money while building a list thanks to Facebook ads. I can't speak for anyone else, but that's why I'm spending money on Facebook ads.
