I got over 1 MILLION views last month on YT and made $1 on my website.

I'm already doing that. That is my entire point. On YouTube, money is flowing and views are flowing but my website is a graveyard. People who have no audience will be like me because nobody knows they exist. My confusion is I have a huge audience so why is my website not benifiting? Also am I wrong in thinking the real adsense money is from your website? My thinking is YouTube is taking a lot of my profits so if I could even get half the traffic I get on YouTube I'd probably close to double my profits? Am I wrong?

I just can't help but think I'm missing out on a huge potential. I feel like I'm trying to start a modeling agency and I have Naomi Campbell working on my logo design. I'm trying to find out what the "DUDE, you better make Naomi your spokes person ASAP!" thing is for my situation. I'm already using every excuse I can to send people to my website sending people ANYWHERE is tough. Most of my traffic on videos comes from people finding me in searches and sometime MUCH more comes from YouTube suggesting my videos. This means I'll only be able to trickle a small amount of my traffic over to website.

It was same thing with facebook. I'd do a video on YouTube that does well there, then post and promote on FB and see next to no traffic come from FB.

It sounds like you're already monetizing the video views with ads, is that right? (although $20 a day does not sound like a lot with that many views)

If you are, then another thing you could do is promote specific affiliate products that would appeal to your audience, depending on each video and its target audience, of course.

They don't have to be digital products, either, they can be physical products - you could link to any Amazon product as an affiliate, for example.

Another thing you might consider is - rather than send people to your website, put a strong 'call to action' (using YouTube Annotations on the video itself) and a link in the description to send them to a very focused squeeze page that gets them on your list, this way you're building an email list (that you can build a relationship with, over time)

It sounds like the traffic is very "hit and run", so to speak, and so you need to capture them while you can.

Also, check into your video analytics and see what percentage of people are viewing your videos from Mobile devices - this may also be affecting how many people end up going to your site from YouTube.

You're right, this should be a good money maker for you, you just need to find the right "flow" or funnel for "capturing" those visitors onto a list and then offering things they want to turn that list into income.

I would lean toward the squeeze page / email list, though, because even with a small percentage of people opting in, you should be able to build pretty big sized NICHE lists in a short period of time and that, properly cultivated, can bring you some impressive income.
