What's your reason for commenting on Youtube videos?

There are many good reasons to comment on a Youtube video. For instance, as a fan of a video, you can comment to leave feedback for the video creator to let them know what you liked or didn't like or to ask for other specific videos on the same subject. As an internet marketer, you might have the chance to draw attention to your own channel by commenting, so long as you don't spam. What is your reason for commenting on Youtube videos, social or business? And, what are your best, non-spammy techniques for commenting to get traffic from that video to your own channel?

    You can easily use Youtube much like you would a forum by commenting on other videos that are similar to yours. You will want to make knowledgeable comments that add to the quality content of that page, thereby establishing yourself as an expert. Others who visit the page to watch the video will see that you are more of an expert than the person who created that video and take time to visit your channel.

    I usually comment to commend the video maker and then engage in conversations. I try to learn as much as i can through video and comments and then practically implement what I learn.

    If I see an opportunity to help someone then I definitely do so. As you said, this helps boost my reputation as an expert.
