100's of Facebook clicks but no takers?

I have a squeeze page to give away a free ebook in the weight loss niche to build my email list. I thought I would try PPC on Facebook as well as Bing ads. I placed ads and I got several hundred clicks but I never got even one subscription out of it. It was a complete failure.

What is the deal with this? What am I missing? Is Facebook and Bing a poor platforms for this. I really don't get it.

I am using the same squeeze page that I regularly get a 50% optin rate on when I promote it as a solo ad. It seems I wasted about $300 for an education.

Any feedback from experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You're definitely targeting the wrong people. I could speculate a lot more about it, but when I don't see the ad campaign it's hard to say something exactly.
Feel free to send your ad campaign screenshots to my through PM and I would be happy to help.

    Could be number of reasons
    Things i will suggest
    1) Your Landing Page doesn’t use the same image/copy as your Ad
    2) Split testing between two different campaigns or demographics might give different result try that

Your targeting is all over the place. Your ad doesn't match the landing page. You're telling people "opt in to blah blah blah...". And you ad has a ClickBank URL but you are claiming it is leading to a squeeze page. And the squeeze is way different than what is promised in the ad. It's not a wonder. They are expecting one thing. Seeing another. And automatically getting turned off.

The lads above have a good point and your working in a very competitive niche market and you need to have everything working together to maximize your success

Here's a few tips to get you going

1 Make your copy more punchy something like FREE Report Revels ...Fat burning foods that met of 10lbs a week

    2) Place a video, photo on your squeeze page ( remember people do business with people they like know and trust)

3 Add a little more content to your page helps build the trust factor

4 Make a video and show them what they are getting in the report , print of a copy for yourself and show them you know what your talking about.

Once someone has gained your trust they will optin in

5 Remember to follow up with people using email and video content

    I hope this helps
