Why can't I get 50k visits to a funny photo?

I've tried sources to get traffic and I know social traffic is the best.

Facebook ads have gone up in price, reach is down, and now I can't drive traffic to specific websites.

Facebook ads consist of:

targeting people who liked humor pages
targeting 18+
targeting women and men.

Any ideas or help?

    Try Facebook groups, and there're hundreds of funny photo groups out there.

    If you can your photos shared this may increase your chances of getting more visits. An idea I came across regarding this was by another fellow on the forums. He apparently got several viral posts because he removed the like button on his posts and replaced it with just share. It worked great for him!

      You can also tag people on facebook that you think would be likely to share your photo. Many people will look at it and like your page. Remember that when you tag people, their friends will also see your post, thereby expanding your network.

    For the same reason Mc Donalds in the woods doesn't get any customers.

    You have to get in front of the right people. Maybe you could try targeting people who like a specific type of humour or meme?

    Has your 'funny photo' been shared lots of times before on Facebook or is it an original image? This could make a difference as usually the same images get shared around and your target audience has seen them before.

    Another possible way to get traffic is to share on Facebook and then pin to Pinterest. In that way, you are hitting a niche group outside Facebook who might not have already seen the image 100 times before in their feeds.

    Dont buy likes if you really want interaction. Buying likes is really just to make it look like you have a popular brand. For actually fans you should interact with as many of your targeted group as possible. LadsBible for example, lets you interact and upload your content in posts.

    We sell likes if you're still interested but otherwise, get busy putting yourself out there and introducing your new found friends to your page!
