Looking to make marketing apps. Any suggestions?

I am a programmer and I am looking to make some cool marketing apps that deal with twitter, text message marketing,and generally anything else of that sort. Are there any types of apps dealing with these things that you would want to use. It doesn't necessarily have to be a complete app either. I would also love to hear suggestions for features that you think would be really awesome as well. Thanks for your time and I look forward to making some killer apps in the future.
