Anybody Generate Income from Tumblr

As title suggests.

Was considering starting a campaign but there doesn't seem to be much of an IM presence there?

Anybody generate some results or know of some one who has?

    Yes I do however it depends on the niche.

    IM has a presence on Tumblr but what I have seen work is just plain giving value.

    All the salesy posts get little to no engagement.

    A post like "the 5 Ways to rock Tumblr for business" would definetly attract IM traffic.

    You could simply link to a squeeze page from this post and on Tumblr you can hyperlink.

    Be creative.

    And yes it works for my business and does generate leads also.

    It just seams like a very counter culture orientated sort of place.

    I done a search for IM and make money online and found very little engagement.

    Lots of people are marketing products and websites on Tumblr, but maybe not as many are in the 'let me show you how to earn money in internet marketing' game on Tumblr. And, maybe there isn't a big audience for teaching people how to do internet marketing there. That doesn't mean you can't be the first/next to give it a try.

    One of my friend is making good money from her tumbler website. Her niche is health and fitness for women related. She use tumbler as personal blogging and fun, so if you say making money then answer is YES.

      The demographics are right on Tumblr for fitness, weight loss and self help/self improvement niches as there are many there would will gladly share useful content. That means your content can go viral very easily.

    Yes for emails, no for direct sales. At least for me.

    Tumblr users like free stuff and it really depends on the niche itself.

    I'm aware of the methods, but I don't utilize them. At the moment, it's one of those "ho-hum" platforms: you'll have folks turning over $100/ $200 a day, but the methods involved are so time-intensive, your time (or the time of your VA) is really better spent elsewhere.

    Yes anybody can generate income form tumblr. You have to concentrate on your nich. Post quality content 3 times a day. Search your nich in search box and follow that people who note others blog. Only follow 300 people per day. They follow you back if your blog has attractive and quality content. You will get 1500 nich related followers within a month.
