Is paying for twitter followers really worth it?

About to launch my third company and need to get a good amount of twitter followers (50k plus) and some people have told me to buy the followers, but I can't see how this will be beneficial?

Anyone got any advice regarding this?

A better investment would be running a Twitter PPC ad targeted at buyers in your niche.
Then you will attract targeted followers versus paying for random followers.

Correct. You can connect with the most receptive Twitter users with the Twitter Ads. Whether you're looking for more followers or website traffic, you can find the right solution to help you achieve your business objective.

It's not a good idea at all. You will mostly get fake followers no matter what the seller says.

If you just want to boost your follower count...maybe. But if you want to gain real interactive followers, then sad to say most companies selling them will only sell you fake followers that maybe include fake filled out profiles and pics at the most.

Agree with this. real people make real sales. Also, the only tip i can give you regarding twitter is to socialize more, tweet more relevant and entertaining contents, and resist those paid followers that don't pay it back.

What I do is buy a small amount of followers just to get me started. Then I start to follow the people in my niche. They will often have a quick glance at your profile/bio and maybe your last few tweets and as they can see it looks professional/informative/witty (well it should depending on what your aim is) and you have a few followers they will very often follow u back.

I just find that initial kick start helpful, and then it helps to keep the balance right between the numbers "Following" and "Followers".

I always like to be in the positive where that is concerned.

They're going to be fake robots so it's not even worth it.
Instagram announced today that they would be sweeping accounts that had fake followers!

pay big influencers to retweet you. they can help you with content that could resonate and draw an organic following. If you are a local sewing machine store then that method will not work.

For the purpose of increasing the number of followers, maybe. But i think there are more viable ways to get properly "connected" without having to pay.

Only for show. I wouldnt follow anyone with no followers but if they had a few thousand real or fake i might. How do i know if they are fake unless i want to investigate the person i am following

I don't you suggest this thing, because there are so many people just create twitter a/c and doesn't log in for many weeks and and they give access to any tool for following, even there are many fake a/c in which paid followers, And I also agree with Tim Alwell. You can run Twitter PPC ad targeted at buyers in your niche.

I'd suggest to never buy Twitter Followers directly. This is even more true for Facebook likes. Instead, focus on something to gain targeted social impressions and engagement. Just buying Twitter ads would be good. I'd also recommend to take a look at TweetFavy. It's cheaper and more effective if used right.

No, no and no!. Of the accounts that are actually genuine, they'll have zero interest in your brand so they won't engage with you at all.

Even if you were doing it from a vanity standpoint, having thousands of followers and zero engagement looks very odd.

It's okay to buy a small amount of likes first. Then just tweet like hell and gain some actual followers. I think buying 50k followers from the jump can hurt your account. Especially when it had no activity.

no I would not suggest paying for twitter followers (buying followers), you will end up with most if not all fake accounts, try a exchange site such as addmefast and likeforlike seem to be good ones, be prepared for some fake profiles, and the followers will be untargeted however as a quick boost for a few hundred or maybe first few k followers it should be ok.

Paying on twitter itself would be a much better idea, and would get targeted real followers.
tweet good content and use hashtags when appropriate and you should be able to get good followers.

When you buy Twitter followers, definetly many people will follow you if they saw that you are trustworthy. It also increase your Twitter followers naturally. It has been found that natural increases in social media followers can increase by 40% after using a followers service.

Yep very true. This is how it works. The bigger your account the more dignity and respect you get from skeptics. Why did the Lad borrow his friend's ride to the party? Because he needs to impress the celebretee of his worthiness...... Did he get her?? O yes!! He absolutely did....... Your big account is impressive and will get you more sign ups much easily!!
