Every few campaigns I run into an issue where one my FB ad campaigns will not spend any money, at all.

Sometimes toggling the campaign on and off will make it start spending, but most of the time it doesn't.

Does this happen to you, and have you found a workaround?

Yes, you have to wait. Especially when many people are advertising before Christmas, it's hard for FB to start your campaign right off the bat. Sometimes it takes up to 8 hours after being approved to start spreading. (For old, authority accounts)

Thanks for the reply - I was starting to get concerned that I was the only one running into it.

It can also happen if you're setting your cost per click instead of letting Facebook optimize for it. If you set the CPC too low, you'll get outbid and your ads won't show.

What miklanderson2 said + if you do the same with manual CPM bidding, you can get outbid and not get any spreading again... I find the suggested bid option on FB to be wrong more often than not...
