My client wants me to setup a Facebook Page for them. How can I do it without using my personal FB account?

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

I don't see why you can't use your personal account, set it up, add their account as admin, then remove yourself as admin.

Thanks. They also want me to be an Admin. How would that work?

Once you set up the page, you can designate multiple people as admin. You can create a completely new FB account to do this if you want to be extra careful, but it's probably not necessary. And I've heard that if you use a new account with no friends, any ads that you might try and post will be under more scrutiny and may not get approved as fast. But that might just be a rumor.

So, you don't think it could compromise my personal account?

I've been an admin for several pages, and it hasn't done anything to hurt me.

I would say that depends on what you mean by "compromise your account"

What I mean by compromise my personal FB account is: if something should go wrong, or someone posts bad things on the page etc, my personal account may be compromised by FB. They may query me or perhaps even shut my account.

Or, am I worrying about nothing?

I am guessing you may not want to use your personal account due to privacy issues, but you can always manage that easily right?

I think the only way to be an admin, and not use your personal account is going to be to create a new account. Ofcourse that has its own complications though. Just use your own, I don't think it'll cause many issues for you.
