YouTube have just blocked my account because they did not approve of one of my videos.
I appealed their decision but they say they are still keeping it suspended.

Is there any way that I can retrieve all my other videos, which nobody can now view, so that I can upload them to a different account?

Thank you

How could you not have the video? You only upload a copy to Youtube. The video should be somewhere on your hard drive, no?

Youtube are getting a little touchy and locking off accounts for minor problems

The reason why ... people are spamming YouTube and they are clamping down.

So let's hear for all those clowns out there producing and uploading tons of crap and spoiling another great free traffic method.

Also watch out for people who are deliberately flagging videos in order to eliminate competition

YouTube is a great site for Marketers ... if you have never studied them its time to look at and comply with the Community Guidelines

Please what is the content of your videos? are they product review videos? My account was banned a few months because I was uploading product review videos that were too similar and I bought a few social and webpage backlinks to the videos.

Let us know more about your youtube videos.

What was the thing that triggered the ban hammer?
What do you think, it was?

Maybe too much adult content in there?

Give us some more info so we can help

If your account was banned, you won't be able to login, so there won't be a way to retrieve your videos. This is why you need to host your own family/personal videos on a separate account than one used for business.

Thank you for all of the replies.

The account was actually suspended because it did not comply with the terms and conditions, although they did not say exactly what the problem was.

It was a review site for a health product, so no adult content.

I appealed against the suspension but got a reply saying their decision was remaining.

I guess being suspended is different to being banned, but either way I cannot access my account.

If you are in the medical area you need to ensure you meet the guidelines to the T.

I have clients in Botox and Surgical areas that frequently have issues with ads, videos, landing pages. You name it. There are issues promoting health care.

It is always down to having proof of claims and really paying attention to the requirements of Google.

Youtube is the same so you need to meet their requirements.

        I Quote them here:

Google restricts the promotion of healthcare-related content such as the following:
        over-the-counter medication
prescription medication and information about prescription medication
        online and offline pharmacies
pregnancy and fertility-related products and services
        medical services and procedures
        medical devices and tests
        clinical trial recruitment
        sexual enhancement treatments
The restrictions that apply to this content may vary depending on the product or service that you're promoting and the countries that you're targeting. Some content, such as unapproved pharmaceuticals and supplements, can't be promoted anywhere.

Depending on the content that you're promoting and the countries where your ads appear, you may need to apply for pre-authorisation with Google before advertising healthcare-related content.

What has worked for clients in a similar situation to yours but they may be a little different because some of them are paying North of 4K per week to adwords is a phone call to Google to discuss what the specific requirement is in your case.

If you are just spamming Youtube then you have no chance.

If you are a legitimate business then they will listen and advise.

You then modify the content to meet their criteria and voila you are all friends again until next time.

It's pretty tough to get your account back after that. What was the video about? Were you using other people's music and video clips? They are pretty strict on that kind of stuff
