Don't think my FB Fan page comments work

I've made a FB fan page related to sports.. I'm been replying on comments that people post from say ESPN. I've posted 100+ comments of actual good content not just random BS... not 1 single comment back or even a like... considering people reply with dumb comments and get 75 likes and I've got ZERO? I find that to be impossible.. does FB block one fan page from commenting on another fan pages comments? I thought replying to others comments would be a good way for them to check out my page

Yeah sorry its kind of hard to explain... I thought a good way to get FB fans to my page would be to go to other fan pages like ESPN fan page.. and reply to comments made by viewers.. ESPN posts a status about Jay Cutler.... 120 people comment on it... I find comments that are worthy of a response and respond in hopes they will check out my page since I am commenting as that Fan page.... but after all the replies I've done I haven't gotten 1 like or even a response back

Perhaps people aren't too interested in responses, so they move on. On Social Media people have a low attention span. I doubt they'll check out your page by just seeing comments especially on a page like ESPN.
Are you posting as your personal account or as your page?

Its not the same as in blogs. many people post just to see their own names in print so to speak, they have no real desire to participate in a conversation. maybe with the page owner, but not so much with fellow commenters.
