Social media for RSS aggregator site?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has experience running an rss aggregator site and getting leads from social media. I know rss sites are tough to do seo work on but I thought driving traffic from social media might be a viable alternative. I'm not looking to make millions but I don't see why it's not possible to make a few hundred a month from adsense.

    I use yahoo pipes to reshape some of my pages into rss feeds. I then use scrapebox's rapid indexing method to ping these new feeds. I have noticed some traffic comming through after I finalised the ping. I think you should give it a shot. Yahoo pipes works well for this type of application

      RSS can be an awesome tool when used right, and is very easy to work with in code if Yahoo Pipes doesn't cut it.

      I've hand-built some tools for reformatting Pinterest RSS feeds for auto-inclusion in Tumblr sites, and have had hundreds of thousands of hits as a result.
