Facebook fan page events - News feed algorithm effects

Hello, I manage a facebook fan page of about 15k fans. I want to create some events to keep fans informed about our activities, bur I know that only a small number of our fans will click on "participate" on the event. Around 15-20 fans... How will facebook see this? Will it have a bad effect on news feed engine?

Do regular post on your Facebook page and tag your friends with your post then see the result on your Facebook graph.

Not sure how this can help with my situation. The fan page has a good activity at the moment, I'm just worried that creating events with a few number of partecipants could decrease the activity beacuse of a bad influence on the news feed algorithm...

I am no expert, but I don't think it will create a bad affect. In fact, the numbers may start increasing. Experiment by changing different things in your events and see what people like. This may help you improve your page even more.

Why would it have a bad effect? If anything, do what marketeer suggested, experiment a bit and see what happens. Also, try engaging your fans a bit more, have you tried to literally ask them what would make them interested in your events? Create a poll or simply post the question and see who will reply and what.

to have a good visibility on Facebook, your posts have to receive a good amount of likes and comments. If there's something similar for events, and my events will have small numbers, then it's easily explained why it could have a bad effect....

My events are publicity for offline events organized by our company. It doesn't matter if our fb fans like them or not, they'll be done either way.
