Which Social Media for cheap traffic?

Hey Guys,

Currently I'm advertising on Facebook to get paid traffic to my website. My best posts run at less then 0,01 per click. I was wondering if there are any other social media that I can advertise on for a similar price, cause so far this is only working for me on Facebook.

Thx!

Stumbleupon was good for me, well the initial CPC is expensive, but your ad will get lots of organic traffic.

Btw, what countries do you target? and what is your fb ad ctr ?

I'm targetting the US, the UK and the Netherlands. Sometimes also Canada and Australia. Clickthrough rate is about 7%.

About stumbleupon, what's the average cost? Is it easy to target?

1 cent per click for your targetting is pretty nice.. are you sending your traffic to a sales page or squeeze page or pure content?

For stumbleupon, it's easy and quick to target, you will target by catergory (they pre loaded categories, not like facebook you write interests.) and device, country.. and other targetting features.. and the CPC for your targeted countries would be 10 - 20 cents

You can use a RTB type platform and put your ads on LinkedIn and other sites for a decent price.

Less than .01 per click (targeting US and UK) is going to be very tough to beat though.

If you're getting good results, then it's best to stick to facebook for as long as you can.
Stumbleupon is also a good idea, and I would add Twitter ads, but they're a bit more expensive.

You can use Twitter and LinkdIn.
    Twitter
Twitter recently launched a self-service capability for Promoted Tweets, which are regular tweets that you pay to promote to more people. Twitter allows you to target people by geography, interest or gender, and you only pay when people click on, retweet, mark as favorite or reply to your tweet. Twitter’s pricing system is based on bidding: You set the maximum amount you’re willing to spend per follow or click, and Twitter will give you suggestions for what you should bid to optimize your campaign. Twitter tools allow you to see how each of your tweets is performing; after a few days of running promoted tweets, check back in to gauge how the campaign is working and whether you need to adjust your bid

    LinkdIn
To get your content in front of a business audience, consider LinkedIn Ads, which run on prominent pages on the LinkedIn website. Ads consist of a headline, a description (up to 75 characters of text), your name or company name, a small image and a URL. You can specify which LinkedIn members view your ads by selecting targeted criteria such as job title, job function, industry, geography, age, gender, company name, company size or even by a particular LinkedIn Group (such as “Corporate Real Estate”). Similar to Twitter, you set a maximum budget and only pay for the clicks or impressions that you receive.

Instagram is about as cheap as it gets, being free and all haha

But in terms of PPC, FB ads are killer!

Getting less than or around 0.01 cent per click is absolutely incredible for Facebook ads, you should definitely continue to stick with it!

Other paid options on Twitter & LinkedIn are definitely much more expensive & it's very very difficult, or almost impossible I should say, to get that low a rate.

You just need to do what's called "A/B testing" of your ads to try & improve your conversion rates. Just create & run several versions of your same ad, making changes to each version in 1 specific area (e.g. ad image, text, call to action etc), & measuring the results to see which version converts better. Then use that version that has a higher conversion rate, create new versions with changes to another specific area, & measure the results again. Continue the same process with further changes to your ad, to try & improve your conversion rates even further.

Also, it will be good if you could use Facebook ads to use some of this traffic to capture leads as well, in order to build & grow your email list outside of Facebook. Just create a dedicated squeeze page on your site offering something free & of value ( e.g. free eBook, free report etc) in exchange for your prospects's email, & use Facebook ads to drive traffic to that squeeze page.

    Facebook is great..

Why Every Business Should Spend at Least $1 per Day on Facebook Ads

Twitter, StumbleUpon are the other places that will help you get more targeted traffic.

Instagram is a great way to drive traffic to your IG page. User engagement is pretty impressive. Find Influencers with contact info in their profiles. Contact them to get pricing on Shoutouts.
