Outsourcing Social Media?

I'm ready to outsource all pinterest efforts but I'm hung up on giving someone access to my account.

Anyone have advice on outsourcing an existing social media account?

This is probably obvious, but always remember to look at the feedback of whoever you are hiring, whether it be on Freelancer, Odesk, Elance, even Fiverr. This is the best judge of character of the worker, and in a way, really the best way to decide whether your account will be safe or not.

I woud advice you to automate your pinterest business than outsourcing. Bots can do pretty much anything without cheating you

For outsource my advise is to make sure to read all the reviews (especially bad and medium rated reviews) about your freelancer.

Again, look into automation. once you acquire that skill, you will use it everywhere.. pretty powerful skill.

I pretty much agree with backlinkmasters. If you want to hire someone, look at their feedback to see if they're trustworthy. Many freelancers make a living out of this type of work so I'm sure you'll be able to find someone who won't double cross you.

We can pass you on to a Digital Media company as part of a group who do this, whether they deal with individual accounts is another matter, but you would be buying experience not time. All the other sites like Elance you are buying time and rarely experience, so it's very hit and miss.

I suggest you go with companies with customized recruitment rather than outsourcing platforms so that your staff will be monitored and transition is easy in case your social media manager resigns.

  • I think it would be more effective in the long run to automate your pinterest first. So if you do decide to outsource your pinterest marketing to a VA or a company, everything is already set up and you have main control over your own content.

How exactly would you go on about automating with Pinterest?

  • I thing outsourcing is bad option unless you do not have a reliable person. If you do have somebody who can manage your SM and who is also reliable, it is great to outsource.

I think if you really want to outsource then at some point you'll have to trust someone with some of these things. You just have to be diligent, try out different Pinterest services on some of the freelance sites that don't require a username and password. When you find someone you feel like you trust then let them know that you're looking for someone to do more hands on daily work with the account. Eventually you should find a good business partner.

If you don't want to give access to someone you can simply invite them to add pin in your accounts boards.

Well you should at least trust the company or individual you are outsourcing. Other than that it should be fine.
