How to put watermarks on pictures without using photoshop

SOCIAL NETWORKS

I am wondering what program to use to place watermarks on my pictures
i dont know much about photoshop so an easier program would be better. something super fast and good!

You can use paint or corel photo paint.

They are both free to use.

Just import your image

Then use the mask tool and adjust the transparency.

Click on save and you're done.

I love to use GIMP (gimp.org).

It's opensource (free) and has all the features of Photoshop.

Gimp is best always and you can use Paint which is default in windows system.

Photoshop is the best way because you can create an auto tool that applys water marks to all your photos in a folder.

You can do it in MS Word too:

To add a watermark or background text in Word 2000
From the View menu, click Header and Footer. ...
From the Insert menu, select Picture and then WordArt. ...
Click the style you would like to use. ...
Click OK.
In the Edit WordArt Text dialog, type your watermark text. ...
Click OK.

In Ms Wrd 2010:
Add “Draft” or another custom text watermark
On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Background group, click Watermark.
Click Custom Watermark.
Click Text watermark and then select DRAFT or the text you want from the Text list, or type the text that you want.
Select the font, size, and color of the text.

man you can use auto edit once you view the pictures there is a botton on your right site then you can click it and edit and instert text thats it then SAVE... have a great day
