Useful tips on using Slideshare to build your list

Are you looking for a traffic generator? Maybe a social media site you haven't tried or one that isn't flooded by bots or fake accounts?

Slideshare is a PR8 website with 50+ million viewers a month.

Slideshare is a great list builder too...especially (but not exclusively) for business leads... here's how.

Using a formula I've honed in the last 3 months, I consistently get my presentations selected as "top slideshare of the day", meaning they get featured on the homepage and 1000s of views. Typically, my featured presentations get 5-10,000 views. My most popular has 424,000 views. A good prez will get 5-10% CTR back to a landing page, and my LPs have around 50-70% conversion rate from Slideshare traffic.

So, if you set it up right, you should be able to get 100s if not 1000 of signups from a good Slideshare & LP combination.

Anyway, I'm new here but I thought I could offer some advice on Slideshare - tips & tricks. I don't know everything and there is a lot I could do better. But, as I have been on the site since 2007, it's taken a while to work out what works, what doesn't, I can share that info.
