Facebook Clicks to Website Ad Campaigns

Hi, Im just wondering for those who have had successful clicks to website facebook ad campaigns on facebook what techniques did you feel were helpful. For instance did you get better results using CPC in comparison to CPM? and are there particular ads that worked better like desktop ads?, ect, ect. My goal is to get clicks to my blog site. I have a corresponding facebook page for it. I would also of course want to get some sales as I have some affiliate ads on it.... including great and informative content. Thanks for any advice.

    If your ad is well designed and people tend to click more then CPM is for you otherwise focus on CPC. I have few month experience with both schemes and i must say CPC did work good as compared to CPM.

    Well it all depends on your niche. You need to test both on mobile and desktop to see which one performs best for you. As for my campaigns I got better results from CPC on clicks to website. Place some small budget of $5 a day to test it. That way you can see it for yourself and get best results.

    I do start always with CPC to get the lowest clicks cost, then whe I get a low CPC that drives traffic to my websites.
    Once I low CPC enough, I change it to CPM for the right audience.
    Of course image and text copy are fundamentals for successful ads.
