Best products to promote for youtube affiliate?

Im starting a youtube channel where I would like to promote tech, workout equipment, or etc. What is the best way to promote products without actually having them? I am open to new ideas..

    You can promote amazon products using their affiliate network and download videos related to the product that you want to promote, edit them with Movie Maker, upload to youtube and boost your youtube channel with social signals.

      Unfortunately there is no good way to "fake" a review. Its very obvious (to me anyway) when a so called review is actually just re-hashing promo materials to get traffic to an affiliate link.

      That person receives an instant click of the back button.

      Personally I prefer "open box reviews" where the reviewer actually gets the boxed items and opens it up on camera and gives an initial impression of the contents.

      Then you follow up a few days later with an actual review about how good the item is to use etc...

      Of course this means you actually have to acquire the item to do the review
