9Million followers on twitter. Monetize?

    Is it targeted traffic?

    If it is what niche?

    You have to match your offer with your right audience but in order to do that you really have to know them.

    Do they want to make more money?

    Or do they want to train their dog?

    Once you know what they want then match an offer to them. CPA offers work really well so you can use those.

    And hopefully you're not planning on just just selling to these followers. You should still provide good content that your audience will love or it will not matter how many followers you have. If no one likes what you're posting then they're not going to engage with it.

      General accounts, not too niche related. Mostly parody accounts of celebrities. Health/muscle offers are all over twitter so I don't want to do this. Just tyring to find something better.

        If the account is just a general account and it isn't targeted then monetizing won't do you any good.

        If they are parody of celebrity accounts and the people are truly genuine followers, then they could potentially be interested in comedy.

        Try comedy related videos about the celebrity they are following. For instance if it's a parody account of Paris Hilton try to find a parody video of Paris Hilton on Youtube and tweet it to your followers. If there isn't one then create it and then enable adsense on your channel.

    If your likes would have been targeted it would have been easier. Are all your likes generic. Perhaps you can determine some common interest and use your account to drive traffic to a blog or website. You can try affiliate marketing.

    What do you mean by general audience? There has to be some connecting characteristic that drove these users to follow you on Twitter. Find that out, and try and build a blog or website around the idea, and drive traffic to it. If those 9 million are truly real followers, you should have great success.

    If you have something they would want to download you can monetize through PPD (PAY PER DOWNLOAD) where they do a survey in order to receive your download and you get paid up up to $20 per lead.

    Twitter can be tough to monetize your account for...although it is possible to turn things around only if you are giving more value than thinking of make a quick buck asap etc.


    There are many options you could monetize your followers, but sometimes it could take forever to do it. 80/20 rules I think is the best option to go for it.. serving more value like you, you, and you rather than thinking of me, me, me first you know.


    Things will turn around in time...you never know.
