How to turn Facebook followers to Instagram followers?

I have two Facebook pages with a lot of followers. Since the organic reach is basically dead now, I would like to know (tested and proven) tactics for turning these facebook followers into Instagram followers?

I've thought about running FB ads to my followers to encourage them to follow on instagram as well.
Anyone tried this?

      That's not true though..with paid posts you can reach al your followers. Want to hear from people who have actually tried this..
