How much of a following do you have on these social media sites that you're promoting your articles?

And if you do have a following are they targeted for the content you're promoting?

If they're not then nobody is going to care about what you post. You have to get your content in front of the audience that is actually interested in your articles or else nobody is going to visit your blog.

So instead of just promoting aimlessly be more precise about it. Join groups in all your social media accounts related to what you're writing about on your blog, in your case technology and start being active in those communities.

Find out what people are posting about and start liking, commenting and sharing the content you find interesting. This is a great way to break the ice with the members in the groups when you're new.

Once you've established yourself a bit then slowly start sharing your content. Be consistent on daily basis providing only relevant and high quality content and you'll start seeing your traffic grow more everyday.

If your alexa is improving it means the traffic, users' stay and bounce rate is getting better on your website which is a positive sign. The reason I can suggest is that your domain is fresh and you need to wait and improve your social media profiles. In starting you can get traffic from social networks and referring websites but with the passage of time your website get organic traffic depending upon the quality of your link building and onsite SEO.

Tell me which major areas you are focusing for link building and how much links you got approved ?
