Brian Dean has some good thoughts on linkbuilding, check out his SkyScraper technique and Moving Man Method.

There isn't one foolproof way to get a post viral, and content definitely matters.

But I'd say, 1) identify a problem your target has. 2) craft a solution to one of their problems. this can be as simple as having a unique twist, or combining two existing techniques together. 3) brand your solution, with a unique name. Ideally something visual and sounds official.

These 3 things will help you get solid content. Then use his linkbuilding strategies to spread the word more. Use social media to share it. If you have a budget to run ads and such, that always helps. Outbrain, etc are really useful.

Search info about what people are looking online (A Problem)

Then create a article about what the people are looking (The Solution)

Finally in your website, put social share buttons, so people can share with theirs friends (GO Viral)

There is a term called link baiting in SEO. Something that defines the addition of some striking tips for more and more user engagement. Similar way if you can go with the blog post as well that could contain some striking points that would urge readers to share and get engaged will have more effect of a post going viral.

Try using other media to help illustrate your point, like an infographic, slideshow, chart or video.

Everyone wants to make their stuff go viral lately
I like Daniel Roy's idea on using infographics, also share share share everywhere you can. If it's interesting enough, it will go viral. If not, try again!

I suggest setting up IFTTT first with various formulas to autopost to your business or personal social networks. Then I would find a good syndicator that can allow other people to share your content as natural as possible.

Reddit can also be amazing if your content is liked by a certain Reddit Group

this list looks great, though some of them don't look really high quality, like payperpost and reviewme seem quite unfinished, the first one looks quite strange actually.

as for op, the above ones are great, there's also:

      klinkk
      kingged
      dosplash
      blokube
      bloglovin

If you're hoping to "submit" your blog post, to have it go viral....isn't that not exactly the way that something does go viral?

I mean, something going viral means that it's getting shared more often than you can possibly do yourself. I do think there's a ton of value in submitting to places that might link to it yourself, but having it go viral.....probably not
