What is the safest way to get Social Signals to my website.

Hello guys,

As we all know, social signals have become one of the most important factors in SEO.

My question is: where can I get safe and reliable socials signals for my website.

I will need a source that you have tested and tried by your self, please don't recommend Fiverr for me as I tried it and lost a lot of rankings for my website.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thank you

From everything I've read over the past three years, Google refuses to use social signals as a part of their SEO algorithm. They did try it as one point with Twitter and it was working nicely, but then Twitter cut Google off and it really sent them in a tailspin. So Google can care less what happens on Facebook, Instagram and other sites from an SEO standpoint because they're already learned their lesson. The one exception is Google+ for obvious reasons, which is why you should be sharing all of your content through that channel.

Sites like Alexa, Hubspot and Moz do focus on these numbers because they are not Google and it's the only way for them to predict a site's success/popularity...but that doesn't mean Google cares what Moz says on the subject. So if you're looking to impress Moz more than Google or actual people, then social signals are something to focus on.

Now, that doesn't mean that social signals don't help SEO...because obviously any form of traffic to your website is helpful. So there is an indirect benefit of sharing elsewhere, but don't freak out over your social signals score. Your visits and on-page stats are what really matters.

Like kk075, don't lose any sleep over it, but instead make a conscious effort to use your existing traffic to build an audience on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

On one of my authority sites, I never purposely did anything that can get me a higher search engine ranking for anything other then having my keywords in blog post titles, permalinks, and tags.

But I did build rather a rather large social media audience that shared my content and came to my site over and over again from those social sites.

Can't tell you if it had a direct impact, but I do get a lot of organic traffic from google.

As you can see, two different sites showed an increase in rankings that correlated with Google Plus activity and another two sites were positively influenced by Facebook and Twitter signals. Those are important fact for SEO.

To get a reliable Social signal I would suggest you to start a Social Media Campaign in some of the Social Media Websites which have more followers.

    Hi,

    Does SEO matter anymore?

Google is changing it's algo again. This time ranking sites that are smartphone-friendly aka responsive. Sites not friendly enough to mobile users will drop to the bottom.

    Quality Traffic matters more.

By spending $40-$50 a day for a week on FB Ads, you could advertise your homepage or links. Probably, you could reach a targeted audience (demographic) of 100,000 or more.

If 5% actually clicked on that link, it would be about 5,000 people landing on your page. Of course, the page content should be appealing to them that they would then ENGAGE through Social plugins such as FB Comments, FB Likes and FB sidebars etc.

Their LIKES and SHARES are very important Social Factors as these 2 will lead to Organic Traffic from their FB FRIENDS.

Each FB LIKE on your site can attract 5 friends. If 500 from the 5,000 visitors clicked LIKE, that'll be an additional 2,500 potential organic visitors to your site.

Each FB SHARE can also attract 5 friends. Another 2,500 potential organic traffic visitors to your site.

    Traffic and Ranking via Youtube

IMers advised me to create at least 50 to 100 video variations on the same topic and upload them to Youtube. Each video having slightly more than 2-minutes in duration. Each video file properly named, nicely described ( with links to your site ) and tagged on Youtube.

The video links will be ranked high on search results pages, which will bring traffic to your page or sites. Lots of work though creating video but it's worth it as long as it is not too spammy.

My take. SEO has probably reached a dead end in relevancy, if quality traffic and quicker results are what we seek.

Google likes to say it refuses to use social signals (particularly Google Plus), however, according to research/case study posts at Inbound.org there is a positive correlation between Google search result visibility and Google Plus activity.

The reports I've read don't say GO OUT THERE and SPAM Google Plus. Instead, you have to use that platform to get connected to influence leaders and grow your BRAND organically.

Social signals' SEO benefits can be had... However, prepare for a MARATHON, not a sprint.
