Outsourcing Social Media Work and Trying To Make a Profit

I've been thinking of outsourcing my social media work and paying someone to help build my audience. Has anyone had any experience with this and what should I expecting from someone?
How many likes/friends can I expect them to be getting in a week?

I have an offline business and know I could be using social media more effectively to bring in new business, but just don't have the time to develop it and think outsourcing might be the answer. Also once I have the audience I could hopefully use it as a platform to sell other products and services.

If I network with enough people online I could selling access to my audience to other business owners and help them promote their businesses too!

Please let me know if you have outsourcing this kind of work and how you found it?

Thanks

I think you should first build up your own loyal followers. From 0 - 500 its tough. But gaining these followers via an agency might not be that effective Since your perceptions and keeping with the account tone might be different than your agency.

People do that all the time. Outsourced social media management is one of the hottest growing sectors in outsourcing. From the buyers' end, it obviously pays off... otherwise, there won't be a market for such services.

My plan is to get someone to setup 10 to 20 Facebook accounts and add a 1000 friends to each of those accounts. If I can connect with 10,000 people in the city there is value in that to businesses and I could resell access to those people.
I work in sales and I'm in contact with business owners all day and have plenty of leads. I am thinking of it as an alternative to flyer drops and wonder is there any flaws in my plan or maybe a better way to approach this?

You need to have a plan ahead, creating fake accounts will help to increase numbers but no customers, you need to create a target, yes, starting by closest friend it is great but you need to create a business plan in order to have real people following you, that will help to increase on an organic way and sell, if that's what you are looking for.

....or you could do it the right way and and just run a paid like campaign and build your audience...

Real flowers will help you. Fake accounts will surely eliminate the engagement thoroughly; stagnant. Focus on how to get a real followers and it will bounce back.

How much would you charge a business per like?

I would charge you a set rate for the management of the campaigns (no charge per like). You would be responsible for maintaining a daily budget for the likes.

For example, I'd charge $97/wk for the management of the like campaigns plus I would require you to cover the daily budget of said campaigns. The minimum daily budget would be $5. Max would be whatever you want it to be.
