Building email list with fan page

I want to create a FB fan page with no site, but just my email subscription sign up for my call to action. I will promote tech products, but will using FB Ads correctly be worth the investment to drive traffic to the page? I will also do free promotion on offline and online to get email sign ups. Appreciate all answers

You can build a list using a Facebook fan page.

People do it all the time.

The big secret is you have to give people a sufficient reason for wanting to like your page.

You have to give them a good reason why they should receive your Facebook fan page updates.

If you're trying to avoid content, there's really no other way around it.

The good news is you can share third party content.

There's nothing wrong with that because by curating best-of-breed content, there are three winners.

The end users win because they get best-of-breed content.

You win because you have a piece of content you can use to bait people to join your fan page.

The third party site benefits because they get free promotions.

It can be a triple win situation.

One of the most effective ways to recruit people off Facebook through organic means—I'm not talking about the paid Facebook ad system—is through picture quotes.

Share lots of tech-related pictures with some information on it.

If enough people would share that, people would click the link to your fan page, and you might get quite a bit of new members that way.

Yeah man, you can do that no problem. You can build a good quality list if you target the right audience on Facebook using your own business page. I'm currently doing it now by giving away access to a YouTube video training I did where I show people exactly how to find hot targeted leads OFF of Facebook. They are eating it up and I'm getting steady subs on auto pilot. I do post some good quality stuff on my page though and have built up some likes. I also have over 3,500 friends on FB, most of them online marketers.

Another trick is there are tons of Facebook groups that allow you to put ads in for free. If you have something of value to post in there and link it to your landing page it will work. Best of luck with your endeavor.
