It would be hard for anyone to tell you that unless you try it. But be careful, Facebook is not playing around anymore, next they may nuke your personal account too. They're getting better at cross-checking more things, so be careful and evaluate if it's worth trying to game their system.

But what surprises me is Facebook actually told you why they banned you. I've had several clients banned with no explanation. Only thing they got was the dreaded pink ribbon across the top of their page saying Your account has been flagged for policy violations".

No Warning, No Explanation, No Tolerance and No Return.

Yes your account will be banned.

If anything links the two accounts together, your out of luck. The only way to really ensure survival is to create a new email account, than create a windows vps, and access fb remotely. Youtube Windows server VPS remote desktop for an example.

The question about payment method depends. When using Paypal it does need to be the same - When using a credit card is does not need to be the same - Because fb can not read the "name on card" - In fact, no company can. The only details a company can see on a credit card is the # portion of an address, (not the street name) and the zip code.

If you're friends with father, than those accounts are linked, and it'd be useless to try and create another ad account.

If you're willing spend the $15 bucks a month, get a vps and do it remotely. That's really the only way to make sure the accounts are completely separate.

Even creating a new account, there's no guarantee that ad account won't be banned as well. Facebook bans, roughly 50% of all new accounts, regardless of content or tos violations. It's a numbers game - Create enough and a few will survive. There are certain steps to take when creating the account and page to help your chances.

Right now - If you create the personal account, than create the page - Don't input a website for the page. Use Paypal as the payment method, and Page Likes as the advertising method. Doing so will give you 80% success, as opposed to 50%. It's worth it to let it sit on page likes for a few days while the account warms up. After that, the account is much more stable.

You need to realize what I just shared with you, might not be viable for much longer. They are always changing their algos. What works one week, might not work the next.

  • Facebook is trying to delete all fake ad accounts, or those accounts that are created with the purpose of just advertising using FB coupons, if you create a new account using proxies, or use virtual CC, you will get probably banned.
But, if there is a way you to create a new account, you won't find it on a public forum as it would get burned very soon.
The best is trying by yourself and if you have success, don't say it.

As long as your fathers or your wifes account was never accessed from the same computer as any banned accounts, and there are no friend connections - You could be fine. Still much safer to just create a vps.

Like I said earlier, the credit card doesn't matter. FB does not have access to the name on the card(or the name associated), so it doesn't matter. Facebook doesn't ask for the name anyways - And if they did, you could input whatever name you wanted.

Just a friendly question. Is it really worth going through all that trouble just to try and get back on Facebook - and hope they don't catch on? Do you really want to always have to look over your shoulder, peep around corners and make sure you constantly cover your tracks ... while trying to run a business too? Wow! Doesn't sound like much fun to me.

You know there's many other and perhaps better avenues as far as value? You may not believe this, but everyone who advertises on Facebook will not achieve staggering success or any success at all.

Although Facebook is suddenly acting like it ... they're not the only game in town. Far from it.

Yeah, Facebook is pretty smart about detecting users that were previously banned, but if you use a real credit card that is in your name it could be okay! It just depends on what mood Facebook is in that day.

I have always heard that you can get your account back by using

    https://www.facebook.com/business/go

They require a min ad spend of $25 per day for the first month.

There you go, that's a good point. And another reason I believe Facebook is cracking down so much on smaller marketers lately. They want to get you into the above program.

Facebook is slowly weeding out the small paying marketers, so if you don't cross your "t" or dot your "i", one time ... you're Banned for Life!

Then you're forced to find out the reason yourself. Because they don't have time to tell you, that could take a whole 3 seconds to email you (eyeroll). But it doesn't matter because you can't get back in anyway, at least legitimately.

But if you're willing to spend $750 a month, maybe we can help you. Gotcha!

I've always wondered if they'd ban Honda, General Motors or Mc Donald's for Life - if they forgot to dot an "i" or cross a "t" like they do the small marketers lately, hmmm!

The username will flag you up. Actually you probably can't use the same username as it should be unavailable.

This happened to me twice as well. But the only thing you need to have is a new payment method. Meaning a new credit card that is not associated with your banned account. My 3rd account is still active for 2 years now, same full name but different credit card. Hope this helps!

Was you Facebook ad account disabled for a policy violation (such as trust) or was it disabled because of payment issues?
