How I Get Hundreds Of Targeted Twitter Followers Daily

I have always underestimated the Twitter as a traffic generation medium in the past. In the last two months I have joined the twitter and discovered it was one of the easiest and most reliable source of traffic for my squeeze pages. If you have huge list of TARGETED followers, you can get tons of targeted traffic to your website or squeeze page. But getting targeted followers is not easy. Here is an easy way which I learnt in the last two months:

Tools you will need:

Tweepi.com (Free version is enough)

With Tweepi, you can easily manage your twitter account like following new users, flush the unfollowers, follow someone else’s followers etc. You have to create your account at Tweepi which is related to your main twitter account. Here is how to take advantage of this free tool to get hundreds of followers daily:

Step 1: Login to your main Twitter account, go to twitter search and enter the keyword or niche that you are targeting. As you hit enter, you will come up with many big names in the industry. Our aim here is to follow THEIR followers, so choose any user which has huge amount of followers, say more than 1000 followers. Copy the complete username @example.

Step 2: Go to Tweepi and click on the dashboard. Choose the first option i.e. Follow Followers. Paste the twitter username @example that you copied in the first step and click Search. Tweepi will show you a list of all of the followers of that user. The good thing here is you can sort the list with different options like Location, Last Tweeted, Followers Count, Follow Ratio. I sort this list by Last Tweeted and this way I get the most active people on the top of the list. Now you can follow them quickly by clicking the follow button located near their profile picture. I only follow active people who have tweeted at least in the past 24 hours and have more than 500 followers count. This way you can follow hundreds of people very quickly and easily.

Step 3: Wait and see the magic, the peoples you follow will most likely follow you back. Say for example if you follow 100 people, you may get 70 users following you back, and others might also discover you and follow you.

Tweepi will tell you who is not following you back. I usually flush the unfollowers every two or three days. This way I can keep my account clean and highly targeted to my niche.

Hope this was helpful.

Very good method for new marketers. Glad to see a helpful thread in WF that actually works (I've used this same strategy to grow Twitter accounts in the past).

Wish more people posted "how-to" and method-type threads, besides the typical "How can I make $50 a day" nonsense that's usually on here.

More of us would. Those threads (with real information) get deleted. As this one likely will.

Why would they get deleted? I can't understand Freelancer deleting relevant threads when they get free search engine juice from them.

They only get deleted when they contain direct links to a persons website,
or seem self promotional eg: matching sig file.

Direct linking to a personal website is completely understandable. A "matching sig file" is not.

If someone has expertise in a certain area, promotes that expertise in their signature and posts a helpful thread related to the same topic (because duh - that's what they have knowledge about) - that is not flag-worthy.

Couldn't agree more. I believe they see it as "article marketing." If I were to try sharing a method, for instance, it would be deleted. When I arrived on WF, I began by trying to share relevant, white hat methods. Delete, delete, delete. What do I do now? I pop onto WF and try to give help where needed. But sharing complete blueprints? Just isn't possible. I often share blog links in my sig. I've even noticed my posts relevant to these on here get deleted. Foolish, really. One such post was about FB groups (only the other day). I'd written a 3,000 word post the previous day and just - literally by chance - saw a relevant thread on here. It was all fresh in my head, so I contributed. Result? Deleted. So... Not possible to share more than the usual (build a list, build traffic platforms, rank videos in Google, blah, blah, blah). Not for someone like myself. I don't mind, actually. I have a big mouth and I'd probably kill too many methods (sharing in public often leads to saturation, or loopholes being closed). It's still a nice enough place to hang out.

It shouldn't have to be that way, though.

This is why BHW will always be my home. Lots of great methods, lots of people actually willing to help, great marketing topics on a daily basis...I could go on.

I've always wondered why more marketing topics were not created on a "marketing forum" like WF, but I'm beginning to understand.

It's a shame that a small group of the more cynical members take turns flagging posts that are actually relevant, simply for having a signature file (even if the post isn't referencing a personal website or otherwise self-promoting).

I may have only signed up for an account last year, but I've been lurking WF for many years and the forum it is today is a shell of its former self. It really is going to sh*t.

We need more posts like this – however simple the method. The reason there are so many "question" threads in the main forum is because there simply aren't enough thought leaders here – or they are being smothered by a small group of people who contribute no real value to the forum but feel the need to flag any post that has a sig link.

This is nothing new. 2 things...First, I've used it and Twitter will ban you if you abuse it. Second, you may only get less then 10% of the people you follow to follow you back. Your numbers are way off. Its a very slow time consuming process. JMHO

The reason they get deleted is because this forum is specifically designed to target people who are looking to make money online. In other words, it's built for marketers to sell newbies stuff. You'll never really learn anything here (I've realized this in about 1 week of being here) but you may be pitched here - don't get suckered into buying some IMers crap. There's only 1 way to be successful in making money online - staying off this forum and putting work in. If you can get yourself a good mentor or someone to guide you, that's all you will need. Anyone selling anything other then IM products in the make money niche won't be found here either. They delete and they keep you coming back

  • Nice but I would rather use followliker, It's completely auto pilot. Just sit back and let it run. I'm getting between 100-130 followers a day and I haven't touched the bot in 4 weeks.

It is very easy to get banned from Twitter if you follow/unfollow too many people each day. Like another poster said, take it slow at first. I follow about 50 people a day using a different app, and unfollow about the same number.

Anyone else have experience with what a "safe" number to follow each day would be?

A big key to a technique like this is to build some useful content on Twitter (and all your social accounts) before getting followers and friends.

Bots will follow you back, but real people will likely check you out before they follow you back. Spend an entire day looking for the best stuff for your account, then spend a week posting it to your account. Then start following other people.

Content is king, yeah. You cannot expect followers to an account with zero tweets.

        This.

All of the above tactics have their utility - but having good (helpful, new, interesting) content has to be part of the mix.

I started a Twitter account in Feb of 2009 as an experiment to learn how to have a Twitter "voice" for a major brand (e.g. Burger King). For said-brand I have a daily Google Alert, pay attention to a subreddit on the subject, and look for interesting pictures on Flickr (because they have open graph setup/automatically show up in a tweet) - when i find good content I package it up with a Bit.ly browser plugin and post.

As a result, I have 4700 followers, and only follow 476, completely organic, all based on putting interesting content out there.

...now I have to decide what to do with the account.

While this may work really well for you, there is no guarantee that it will work for others.

One of the best ways to get a lot of traffic and unique traffic from them is to use their pay per click platform.

This was the first method I was taught to grow my list. You may find it works well in some niches but would suggest an approach that is a little more subtle.

Rather than cross following as proposed, use the "search" box to find people actually active in your niche and engage with them. Retweet and Favourite their tweets they will likely thank you and follow you. Only then offer them something of value such as a link to your blog post on a relevant topic. I use Hootsuite to ensure my followers are active.

From there they will likely start looking out for your tweets, favourite and retweet. From there you are sending a part qualified lead to your squeeze page.

I have made sale directly this way but obviously if you can get them onto your list its a much better long term policy.

I've been using this method aggessively in the past two months and got over 10000 followers. This morning things have changed on tweepi, they say they got contacted by twitter to add protective measure to prevent banning of their customers.

Now I realize that this is a risky practice and I am going to stop. Twitter agreement states that you shouldn't follow hundreds's of people just to gain attention. Of course if you have 0 followers you have nothing to lose. If not you should be careful about it.
