Share news up to three or four times a day. I post what's going on in the news, motivational quotes and updates on my blog. I also found out that securing your update and share can gain more followers and like.

I don't know any program that would do it for you. You have to personally add new posts (regularly) and photos. Of course, yu can invest in promoting your posts - that's a good idea, but first you have to add them yourself. Comment on other facebook pages and advertise, that's how you'll get more traffic on your own page.

For promoting a Fan page what works for me is inviting all my friends to like my page. I also was able to convince a few of them to invite their friends and that's when things really took off.

If your page is interesting to them, people will like it and from there you just need to maintain their interest by adding more interesting posts and pictures.

I use hootsuite to schedule posts my fans are interested in automatically. I take a few hours a week to schedule them, then just check notifications and respond to comments left on them every day. I get a dozen or so new fans a week doing this - not fast, but I'll take genuine, interested fans anytime.

Make lots of friends on Facebook, get people to like you, post photos and videos these things might increase your chances of getting liked....

The best strategy for me is to really share and post valuable information. engage with people and like other peoples pages on the same topic. Social media takes time before you see good results. You could also spend money on facebook ads if you have the budget

Unfortunately, most marketers have no understanding of the relationship between engagement and reach. As such, they are sucked in to the practice of buying fake likes by unscrupulous sellers or sellers that simply don't understand how Facebook works.

One thought on why you might buy fake Likes is social proof. The people visiting the page won't know they are fake. If there are a few hundred there already, to prime the pump so to speak, then people may be more likely to follow suit and Like the page, too.

There is a difference between buying 1000s of Likes, and buying a couple hundred to get started. People do care that others Like pages. It's called social proof as mentioned earlier.

If a person relies ONLY on buying Likes, then the second part of your statement applies.

No, they don't. Most people don't even notice how many people currently like a page. You are simply repeating what you have heard others say. I'm speaking from experience.

I've setup dozens of BRAND NEW websites and online brands, complete with BRAND NEW fan pages that started with ZERO likes. By your logic, my Facebook "like" campaigns should have been miserable failures because there was no pre-existing "social proof", as you put it.

What happens, time and time again, is that my campaigns explode with tons of real likes for as little as $0.05 per like and relevance scores of 8+.

Buying fake likes does absolutely nothing for a fan page. At worst, it seriously damages it.

No you don't. People who sell facebook likes are basically scammers who take advantage of people who don't know any better.

Buying facebook likes from you or anyone else is a complete waste of money.

200 genuine likes for $5??? That's baloney - there is nothing "genuine" about them.

Awhile back I started a Facebook page about Reiki which is a hobby of mine. Not really knowing any better, and hating that I only had one 'Like' (my own, lol!) I bought 500 Likes, and the number started decreasing shortly thereafter. Then a funny thing happened.

I was posting on other Reiki FB pages out of genuine interest and desire to participate in the discussion. I liked some of the other posters comments, too. Then one day, suddenly, I got another almost 500 Likes out of nowhere!

That page now has 1600+ Likes and is growing on a slow but steady basis. It would be more if I kept that practice up, but it is a hobby, not a money maker for me. These days I post about 3-12 new items of interest per week just because, and I notice some spikes in new Likes when something gets shared even just a few times.

So I'd say find some large FB groups on your topic, engage with them, Like them, and say cool, interesting things and watch as their "Likers" Like your page in return. Good luck!
