I agree with you. I have joined more than 50 internet marketing groups that have higher members. I share my posts on these groups.

To be honest, unless you're going to live on FB then there's really no "fast" way to get the likes. I don't care who says what around here. Buffer shared an article about a month ago that talked about FB advertising, and what got my attention was that it was directed towards people that didn't have a lot of money to spend on it.

I was curious so I did this myself and it turns out they were right. While I didn't bring in 4,000 new fans, I did bring in over 2k, and all I spent was $1.

I created a twitter profile and I got more than 1000 followers within 15 days. There are few strategies to do it.

1. Create a twitter account and complete your profile.
2. Sign up with Crowdfireapp using your twitter account.
3. Set up an automated message to your new followers. Include your facebook page url and invite them to like it.
4. Try to get more followers on twitter. your new twitter followers will receive your message and you will increase likes of your fb page.

Hi,

A great strategy is to kick-start your page with some Facebook ads to get your first couple of hundred likes.

You can then connect with other pages that are in a similar niche to you and ask them if they would like to do 'shout-for-shout' posts. Basically where you do a shout out on your page to your followers telling them that they should check out this other page as they will like it; and the other page would do the same of course.

You can then remove the shout-for-shout posts after an hour or so.

Run an ad campaign for your Facebook fan page. Nowadays it's more expensive but if you have the extra cash to spend then you might as well spend it on ads.

If you want to go the free route then blog and tweet. It will take longer to get likes but if you blog and tweet on a regular basis then overtime you'll gain organic following.

Just to get started, I'd recommend you to use Social Exchange sites like Youlikehits, addmefast, socialgenius, etc. these are the best places to get likes for free real quick!
Although you can't count on them as your target audience, but they will provide a base of followers, and act as a "social proof" based on which you can attract highly targeted organic traffic through other means such as fb ads, blog posts, etc. etc.

So these followers aren't responsive but if you need the "social proof" to grow your following them it makes you look popular?

Don't take this the wrong way but gtfoh.

That sounds like some scammy bs to me. I don't see how that would help me gain real followers.

Have you tried to gain followers without trading or buying likes? It may work just as well.

It's your choice, it takes quite some time to get likes and develop fans naturally.
If you need to develop an audience that's the quickest way, b'cuz if you come across a fan page with no likes or even a YouTube video with no views or likes then not many people are gonna be interested, no matter how good content/service you provide.

After identifying your niche, you have to understand where your audience chime in. In your case facebook is the go-to-place for you right now.

Join at least 10 facebook groups related to your niche/business.

Spend equally distributed time in those groups.

Share very useful content. Get engaged in discussion.

Show your authority there.

Get some facebook likes organically.

After this go for facebook advertising. Be believe me you can get very cheap clicks but only target your facebook page.

Pretty simple - run a facebook like campaign. $100 can get you over 1000 real fans easily if you target properly. That seems to be the magic number, at least in my experience. Once I hit that number, things often start taking off organically.

A $500 budget can produce a significant following virtually on autopilot.

The best method would be to grab a few fake likes So that It may look like that you have a good status. After that if you share in relevant groups, users will head to the page and see that you got a good fan following then they will eventually follow you up.

Besides, if you start with a 0 I don't think any user will dare to like you.

Please refrain from giving out advice that advocates fake likes. Fake like are not only useless but they also kill your engagement, which, in turn, kills your reach.

It's no surprise so many people come on these forums and complain that Facebook only lets them reach 2% of their fans while my sites routinely see reach of OVER 40%, sometimes higher.

Stop with the fake likes, please.

Here's a proven legit way to getting tons of Facebook likes:

Use an app similar to 22social. Install that app in your Facebook fan page, and then put it in a tab to create a sub-page that looks like a lead capture page.

Offer something of value in that lead capture page that's framed in your 22social app. Advertise your offer online rigorously, using paid or free methods.

Then, configure your 22social app in a way that viewers won't be able to access the valuable free offer unless they hit the "like" button first.

You and I see eye to eye on that. It doesn't make sense to buy fake likes to me. There are plenty of early adopters out there who want to be the first person in the bandwagon.

Fake likes is like pandering to the people who are skeptical, which I believe are probably the type of people you don't want buying from you

No, the person who recommended it clearly has no idea how facebook works.

I don't ever post links to my own website here on the forum except in my signature.
