Where to advertise Facebook or Google

Hello Guys,

Recently i have created a entertainment related website to which I'm soon going run an advertising campaign. I am confused which advertisement program is best. One of my friend recommended Google But I personally prefer Facebook.

Please let me know which is best?

      You are right. facebook is good for entertainment related websites. Google best place for Internet marketing related web site. but it cost more than Facebook.

    After identifying your niche, you have to understand where your audience chime in. In your case facebook is the go-to-place for you right now.

    Join at least 10 facebook groups related to your niche/business.

    Spend equally distributed time in those groups.

    Share very useful content. Get engaged in discussion.

    Show your authority there.

    Get some facebook likes organically.

    After this go for facebook advertising. Be believe me you can get very cheap clicks but only target your facebook page.

    I believe Facebook is a better traffic source when it comes to entertainment 'cuz that's what most of the people use it for!
    Also setting up Ad Campaigns on Facebook won't blast your budget, 'cuz you can show your ads only to specific targeted group of people and then maybe scale it up!

    Also if your website content is good enough you can utilize Facebook traffic for free, as 'flyingskill' mentioned.

    If you're going to go the FB or Google route. Make sure you have your Website Pixel from Facebook embedded in to the websites code. That you can later use to create Custom Audiences. That you can re target for cheap Likes/Traffic using Facebook itself.

    Try to create an account with both, set your budget for something low like $10 /day and see for 1-2 weeks which works best, which traffic converts better and is worth more in terms of ROI and continue from there.

    I prefer to do A/B testing on any 2 choices of ads - in this case, similar ads on both will prove which one gets you more ROI for your business. Then, spend more time/money on that ad platform going forward.

    And of course, it depends on type of business and type of ads. If you can create a jaw-dropping video go all in for FB, otherwise, test both.
