How many Hashtags We Can Use in Instagram ?

        I believe using three to five hashtags maximizing content interaction. but using more hashtags will not.

    I don't actually use Instagram for business purposes.
    But I used to have a personal account and I used about a dozen hashtags each time. It got a lot of engagement. I guess it all depends on the individual hashtags you use and whether you want your post to look clean or not.

      You use up to 30 hashtags per post. In the beginning of my Instagram use I would use all 30 on thousands of pics across like 20 or so accounts. However I noticed that my hashtags stopped working on some accounts and after searching online I found tons of other people having hashtag issues and there seemed to be no fix since there wasn't anyway to contact instagram back then. It turns out that using the same exact hashtags too many times like 100-200 times in a row per account and they stopped working for me. When I used some of the same hashtags and mostly new ones and less than 30 like 20 they started working again so it seems there was no hashtag issue at all. Just change them up every 20-50 posts or so or greatly reduce the number of hashtags and re-order them and use a bunch of new ones and you'll be good to go again if they stop working.

      Now depending on the account and amount of exposure I want I use maybe 10-20 at most.

        Means, you say that more hashtag in Instagram gives us more engagement.

    Actually hashtags are pretty powerful on Instagram.

    It really depens on what kind of account you have. If you just wanna spam you should us as many HT as possible.

    But if you have an authority account then 2 hashtags are enough. Otherwise it will make you look stupid and hungry for likes.

    You can use up to 30 hashtags, but I don't recommend using more than three - anything higher than that is already deplorable in the eyes of a normal, everyday IG user.

    Same applies when using Twitter hashtags.

    Hash tags can be used for 3 to 4 times in social media sites mostly in Twitter. Here one can improve their posts by inserting hash tags in their comments to make it more informative than a normal one. It increases the quality of your posts and helps the visitors to get quality info from it.

    There are lists of the most poplular hashtags, you can google it. I personally don't like a lot of hashtags, but they work for a lot of people.

    I would say 10-15 is a maximum so that your post wouldn't look too spammy. And one important tip - always carefully check all your tags. Some pretty innocent tags like #instagirl, #popular or #like are actually banned by Instagram. Your picture tagged with one of these tags simply won't appear on the search page or on any 3rd party services (like desktop Instagram viewer iconosquare etc.). So, once the picture with tags is posted, click on every one of them and see if there is a page with results for every tag. If there's none - it means the tag is banned and you better remove it.

    I was reading somewhere that on Instagram the ideal number of hashtags is 11. They even had an infographic comparing the ideal numbers of hashtags on different social networks.

    Instagram won't allow to tag other people's videos and photos. You can tag upto 30 post. If you do more then that then it will not allow to comment.

    I think 3-5 hashtags are enough, or, what you can do, is put an overwhelming amount of hashtags, give it a few hours (even a day) before reducing the hashtag count to 3-5.
