My facebook account got banned for advertising

I had no warning, and no real reason. Anyone have any companies that can help with this?

You didn't get banned "for advertising". What, exactly, were you advertising and what did your ads look like?

Yes, I wrote that wrong in a complete panic!! LOL!! It should have said, 'My facebook account for advertising got banned'

I've just never had anything like that happen to me before. I try to stay on the up and up with everything that I do!!

What are you advertising over there? I don't think its not a reason to get banned. May be there other reason. May be FB found you to add unnatural activity on your profile.

You made a specific claim about how much weight you will lose and called it a secret method - that's why u were banned.

Thank you so much!! Ok, I get that. I wish they would have given me a warning. Being relatively new to using facebook for ads, (3 weeks to be exact), I didn't realize that I had done that. I didn't think it was making a claim, I guess.

So, any ideas of what to do next? Or how to move forward? They didn't give me any warning at all. Not even an ad disapproved. It was just straight to ban. I was so schocked.

Thanks again! I would rather know what I did incorrecctly than wonder what was wrong.

They have to manage thousands (maybe millions?) of advertisers. Since the TOS are spelled out when you sign up, they aren't going to mess around with "warnings". The warning is already spelled out in the TOS.

Facebook is tough with TOS. I'm really not sure what to tell you. I've never had an advertising account banned so I can't really speak to it.

Thank you!! After a lot more research, apparently, they are cracking down on leadpages as well. So, even though it's not in the rules, they frown upon that. So, I was using leadpages.net. I won't get that account back, and I have talked with them even on the phone. I can understand their side of it, and I was quite frankly following the advice and coaching from a guy that does a ton of ads on facebook. So, I was going by what I was told to do. So, it's a learning.

I have moved my advertising dollars to twitter, and working with an ad manager from twitter to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I may go back to facebook in the future, but, I will probably hire a company to do it for me.

I am not a spammy person, and I am on the up and up. But, I do understand that there are a lot of crappy products out there that make false claims. So, for that, I am glad they are so strict about that.

If you want another FB ad account, setup a new email and account. As long as you aren't churning through them, you'll be ok.

What kind of link did you post? Was it a direct link to your landing page? That may have made a difference.

I have had trouble with FB ads. I once scheduled a few campaigns, picked my target market, blah blah blah, and FB didn't even run any of my campaigns! They were scheduled to run for a couple of weeks too, yet they never activated.

I messaged support multiple times, with no reply. It has been a few months. With FB ads, I've heard both sides of the stories, success and failure. Guess this time ours didn't pan out. Maybe next time...
