$30 in revenue today posting a Single MyLikes link

Posted my second ever MyLikes link to my Facebook page today. I actually reused the first link that I ever posted. So I posted the same link twice.

The first time about a month ago I made $10 over a few days from a single link.

Today I posted the same link to the page again and generated $30 in estimated earnings (will actually be lower when they are finalized) but I am still pleased with the outcome.

Anyone else earning with MyLikes?

Because people don't generally buy from you immediately. It can take up to 4 or 5 times to start seeing real great results. In fact ask any site owner and they'll tell you their conversion rate is between 0.5% - 2%.

People need to warm up to you or your brand before buying.

Had No Idea about this ACE thanks for sharing.

And really impressed with how you are managing your facebook fan page growing with so many likes per week! Hope to get mine off like that some day soon!

I think I actually spoke to you about that before. I believe we emailed a few times?

This is definitely a factor. I attempted to promote Tshirts back at 4k likes with no success. Now approaching 100k likes. I have no doubt that I can sell physical products related to my niche with ease. I am super excited to try again!

Glad you were able to take something away from the post! My single most important piece of advice for you is to spend a few ad dollars to jump start your audience then consistently provide valuable & engaging content!

Wasn't me. I just remember your other thread, about your first viral post. I've been doing FB ads and the likes are growing, but somehow the engagement just isn't very high yet.

Ah my fault. Was a while ago. What is your niche / how many likes do you have currently?

Well my page was definitely bigger the second time around, but I definitely think I just happened to post the link when traffic was high. The link on Facebook received 10,000 clicks, more than I have ever gotten. I was highly surprised.

The page currently has 78,000 likes and gaining anywhere from 1k-5k likes per day.

Honestly, for 10,000 clicks, $30 is really not much. Have you considered other ways of monetizing your FB page? Perhaps relevant clickbank products or amazon (not sure if amazon allows fb advertising). Some CPA networks also allow fb advertising.

You're right. It's about $0.003 per click, chump change. BUT this link took a minute to find and post into my regular posting schedule. While this link generated $30 for me, i also generated $10 from adsense. I haven't been doing this too long so it's good money right now for me. I re-spend all of the earnings back into growing other endeavors. So I'm pretty satisfied.

I don't like CPA products for this kind of audience. I refuse to cloud it with CPA even the slightest. I am lining up physical products to promote / resell on my website & page. Planning to create a specialty shop for this particular niche.

Thank you! Check it out, it's a nice little way to make a few extra dollars. Really only worth it with larger audiences however!

My normal reach is anywhere between 10k - 200k. Never any less than 10k. I post to the page consistently day in and day out, that is the main driving force for my page growth. Also, you end up getting posts that go viral which drives the most likes. I managed 5.5k likes last week from one viral post.

Curious as to what types of things you're posting that are achieving such viral success?

Edit: Oh, wait, you had the OITNB page, right? Anyway, great work!

Yep that's me! Thank you! I never would have thought that you can build a real business with a Facebook page, for any niche.

Im currently talking to vendors who make oitnb themed merchandise and selling adspace to them. Some are allowing me to promote the products and I take a percantage from the sale. Mostly dropshipped.

    What are you working on?

I have not. I focus on the publisher side of MyLikes. Driving traffic.

    Great job!

I suppose now to keep growing facebook right! Work on posting really good content outside of your business, get people engaged and once is a while share what you like with a backlink.

    Keep it up!

It's a pretty awesome concept. I'm just imagining how much $$$ I would be able to generate with 1 million likes instead of 80,000!

      And they pay weekly too!
