How Do I Reduce The Cost Per Click of My Facebook Advertisement?

How do I reduce the cost of my Facebook Advertisement? My recent cost per click was 38 cents, and I am looking to get it much lower. I selected the option, "allow facebook to optimize for clicks".

Instead, do I need to select optimize for impressions? Is there something else I need to be doing?

This was for the "advertise website option on Facebook".

You need to improve your relevance score. If it's below 7, you are going to have problems.

Since Facebook ads are distributed based on an auction system, there are a variety of factors that can affect the cost of distribution of your ads. The main factor that affects this is how much other advertisers are bidding to distribute ads to the same audience you have targeted

Split testing. Try many different images variations and try to play a bit with ad copy. Play with Call to Action buttons as well.

Of course if targeting is correct

Try targeting tier 2 countries only..

If you have tier 1's there then the price its not that bad .
