Hey guys,

So for the past month Ive been trying to grow my facebook page through facebook ads. Ive been doing research on how to keep the cost per click low, most people suggest to start with $1.00 daily budget and slowly scale up. This method worked for me and Ive managed to get the cost per click down to $.03 several times but only if I have only one Ad running. As soon as I create and identical ad in a different ad set or increase the daily budget from $1.00 to $2.00. The cost per click goes back to $.15. Has any one experienced this?

Best,

$1 isn't really enough to test your audience, I always use $5 per day and leave it for 2-4 days, your CTR probably went down.

Right so for example I had 5 identical ad sets, 1 ad in each set. All of them had a daily budget of $1.00 daily, their cost per click was between .10-.14. As soon as I pause 4 ads and leave only one ad running, that ad set cost per click drops to .06 and I expect it to drop to .03 by tommorrow as this has already happened to me multiple times. But I do not know how to keep that cost per click to .03 because as soon as I scale to say $2.00 daily budget the cost per click will go back to .10-.14. So I tried creating a different ad set same daily budget of $1.00 and the cost per click increases again. The only way Ive managed to keep the cost per click down as of right now is to leave that single ad running at $1.00 daily budget but then it would take forever to grow the page.
