The Buffer research that Chris shared from Entrepreneur is a great starting place, but be careful not to lock yourself into a pattern that isn't working. Buffer did a great job analyzing a lot of data but they didn't categorize any of it.

You need to look at your own data to optimize your efforts. It may be that your followers are more active during working hours. Starting with standard times are a great way to test - but make sure you're checking outside the normal time frame as well and tracking different KPIs.

hey, in my opinion, the best time the midnight, because the time difference between the US and China is 12 hours, so you should release the news in the morning.

I have had good luck with after business hours in US. 6pm-8pm PST is still fine to reach all US timezones effectively.

Keep in mind, post the same content 3 different times a day on Twitter. That will give you complete coverage.

the time difference is 12 hours between uas and china, so if you want to post some interesting things and want someone can view it immediately, so i suggest you post some at night

It depends on what you're trying to sell and who your SPECIFIC target buyers are.

Collectively though, social media "prime time" is during late nights or early mornings. Emulate your target audience and try to imagine what time they will be likely on the Internet.

As mikhailblaze suggests, I always look at the time zone of who I'm targeting to know when to tweet then I add a hash tag of their location in my tweet as well
