Going all in on Instagram

After seeing several companies (in our niche) grow significantly on instagram I have decided to go all in on it. I am looking at everything that will assist with my goals becoming significant presence in my niche.

1. Influencer identification (apps, programs)
2. Android apps that can do text overlay onto picture
3. how to locate groups that cross promote.

Basically, I am looking for some advice from those who have really mastered Instagram and looking to give back to community.

Cheers
Carl

I use FollowLiker. That bot does it all and is what many of the IG gurus would use and recommend.

Be extremely careful with those tools! The moment they detect that you're trying to game the system, you could get a message from them that says "Were sorry, but you appear to be doing something thats against our rules. Your account has been permanently disabled." Now try to look for a phone number to call on IG or FB...good luck! Once its gone, its gone!

Consider building your audience through shoutouts and paid promos. We do that all the time and it works great for our niche.

and thats why we won't touch any bots. This is company main account. It has to be white hat completely.

Wait... Why tell someone to use bots knowing very well that you can get accounts disabled very quickly? I mean its shameful to offer "non realistic" advice for sales but overall, what's the point? That's like playing "Russian Roulette" with a fully loaded pistol in my opinion. I mean if this was back in 2010-2012 when bots easily ran Instagram at those times, before Facebook purchased it, I would be the first to agree to use bots.

I got my account disabled back in 2013 for using bots after Instagram changed their "Terms of Service" and lost over $1.3K. I would go strictly white-hat and grow in that matter. Investments will be needed but once you are growing smoothly, it's get easier from there.

I just get a feeling to reply when I see wrong advice given out.

If you want it to be white hat, you have to gain followers manually. Search for the other companies from your niche and follow their followers. But don't follow too many per day, it has to be constant, let's say only 100 follows per day. Because if you follow one day a 1000 people and the next day only 20 people it will look shady.
Organize contests - you'll give people t-shirts if they share your photo with a link to your profile. Let me tell you, free stuff is what people want. At some point you should notice that other people follow you, people that you haven't followed. That way you will know that your strategy is working. And post good photos, that's the most important thing. Don't forget about appropriate hashtags as well.

thanks. I have no problem giving away some items. But there is fine line between giving things away and cheapening the brand. Our prices are in middle to high end for our niche. How do you decide who to give things away to and who to pay. Are give aways just for contest and pay influencers. Do I have that right?

If you don't want to use any bots and want to grow your account in a legit way then buying shoutouts is the only way i think it's possible.

You can get banned accounts back, you just need to know the right people. Botting on your company page isn't an issue as long as you stay under the limits, its no different than manual actions. When you're massing manually, you create a pattern of actions. Unlike a bot that shuffles the tasks. If you are trying to stay away from bots, I would say look into paying some influencers to promote your product as well as use instagrams advertising which is now available or will be very shortly

I am developing a free tool to identify influencers based off of any given keyword. It should be done next week. I'll post a link to it here when it is. You can find large accounts in your niche that sell shoutouts and help boost your following that way without any risk of being banned.

Same here I am not in favor of using bots.
Anyhow, posting compelling images associated with the most appropriate hashtag/s on it will surely help. Plus, just a tip, when sharing an image on instagram make it something that people will most likely to look forward to. Make it a habit to post everyday, Like for example, "30 day yoga pose", something like that; post different yoga pose everyday for 30 days. It works!

I have done a ton of reading the past few days on Influencer Research and this is what I have learned so far (not tested yet):

Your influencer marketing plan should be a mix of 'Brandviduals" - these are people with ton of followers, they see themselves as brand advertisers and usually even have their email address in bio so you can contact them about $$.

The second group (and more powerful group) is your 'authoritative experts" also referred to as "practical influencers" - sometimes they don't even know they are influencer. What makes them so special is when they talk people listen. Their following is not as large as 'Brandviduals" but their followers are much more loyal to them. Their followers are inspired to action.

This should be applied to Social Media and Blogs influencer research. I found a really good questionnaire to use here: http://content.grouphigh.com/rs/grou...0Worksheet.pdf

      * Remember 'pratical influencers" are much more effective and probably cheaper but not as easy to locate.

What I have done is segment my market into three groups I want to target. I am building instagram page for each group as they respond differently to pictures, description/story and overall ethos. Once each page is built up satisfactory that is when I will start to target 'Brandviduals" 25% and 'Practical influencers" 75%.

      thoughts?

I know that Follow Liker doesn't have an option to mention people form scraped list, but I've heard that some people succeed somehow to automatize mentions through FollowLiker. Any ideas how?

@overtonis just sent you a PM. Don't do anything that can jeopardize your account and/or brand. It might work for some but you don't want to wake up the next day and your account be gone.

On our business account we like others in our industry (social media marketing) and related industries like digital marketing, SEO, entrepreneurs, etc.

If you post good stuff a lot will follow back.

I definitely would stay away from bots. That's just me it might work for others, but I don't want to take the chance of getting my account shut down.
