Curious if anyone knows which of the following two methods works better for lead generation. I intend to test both but would save alot of time if someone here had more experience to the following:

Using FB ads to market a free ebook to target audience so I can get a few PPC consulting gigs. That's primary while getting email is secondary to get them into sales funnel

1) Ask for their email and they download the 15 page ebook. Or
2) Publish about 500-700 words from the ebook and then ask for their email at the end with information on what I do at the end.

Thoughts?

Hmm.. I don't want to sound so expert here because I haven't tried anything like this before but I hope you can try both strategies. The thing is not about saving time but having to figure out what works best for you. With two strategies on your mind you will be able to see which one works for you; maybe both works, maybe both will not, so it is better to try both.

i think the following technique is suite for your query -"Publish about 500-700 words from the ebook and then ask for their email at the end with information on what I do at the end".
