How to monetize a shoe niche (Instagram)

I have an instagram account with a little over 30k followers. Many are interactive and most pics get well over 1,000 likes. I know those numbers are relatively small but I really want to get my feet wet and start experimenting with different ways to interact with my followers, whether thats by having giveaways or advertising t-shirts.

Since this is a shoe niche, I thought about opening up a store and making custom shoes, but I'm not very artistic and that would take awhile to get things in motion. What are some ways you guys are monetizing your instagram accounts?

    Why not promote a free product with your Instagram and start building a mailing list in the shoe niche? If you have 1000 active subscribers now you could possibly get even 10% of them to subscribe to your mailing list and there you go, 100 subscribers right away and from there just keep going.

    I'm sure there are some shoe related products you can promote? What if you make an instagram post saying "Do you have smelly feet?" Then post a link to an affiliate's shoe spray offer.

    Instagram is a great marketing platform for anything artistic and as you said you were thinking of starting an online shoe store possibly.. I think that would be a great idea as you already have a decent following that you can immediately promote to.

    You could also sell shout outs to other accounts or individuals.

    it's not gonna work if you post affiliate links, so if you have affiliate offers to promote, you can build a website of your own, and drive traffic their and get them to click on your affiliate offers.

    or, find a supplier or dropshipper, and sell shoes on your own online store.

    CJ and Amazon are great places to find physical products to promote, and if you are interested in finding suppliers or dropshippers, Salehoo is a great resource.

    Many marketers ignore Instagram because it doesn’t have an obvious click out method, however it does have outstanding customer engagement, and allows you to reach a whole new audience in a way you’ve never considered.
    Here are some tips to keep in mind:

    1. Offer contests and giveaways.
    2. Post regularly to keep your followers engaged.
    3. Post your images on Sunday for the highest engagement.
    4. Keep in mind-- photos are 26% more engaging than Instagram videos.
    5. Post relevant content to the season, or events in your industry.
    6. Blue dominant Images tend to perform better than red dominant images.
    7. Have someone’s face in the image, it increases likes and comments by 32%.
    8. Limit your hashtags to no more than 5. Anything over 5 saw diminishing returns.
    9. Photos using the Mayfair filter saw a 2% increase in engagement over other filters.
    10. Make sure your images are bright and well lit. Darker Images see 24% less engagement.
    11. Using images of actual customers using your product can increase engagement by 30%.

    Hi if you would like customized shoes, I though I could help you, because my sister's fiance have a shoe factory, Do OEM for some brand like tory burch,but need some MOQ for these. BTW, The factory local at China.

    I don't think the shoes is good business for me, because the weight is so high.
