Looking for advise for my first Facebook ad

I have been working on my website and business for a couple months now. Mostly I have been getting my curriculum set up and trying to get my branding straight.

With only 65 followers (mostly family and friends) I think its time for me to give a Facebook Ad a try.

I wanted to start out small, and do a 7 day, $5 per day ad that looks like this

It would then lead them to this landing page.

Free Pregnancy Coaching Session » Taylor Florom

I'm looking for general advise on content and copy in the ad, and if there are any glaring issues with the landing page it reaches.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

The ad looks great! Just you have to check it if there is more then 20% text on the image (facebook rules)

people will get confused on your landing page. I think it's better to have a landing page that people will already know what to do, like Signing up, etc.

Both the ad and the landing page look good to me. As you're looking to drive clicks to a landing page with this ad, I would suggest adding a 'Book Now' or 'Learn More' call to action button, just to encourage users along the right path. Otherwise they might be just tempted to 'Like' the page rather than doing what you want them to do.

Best strategy is to post any image that will go viral including landscapes, funny quotes, etc. (DOES NOT have to be about your FP)
    • In the description put "TAG, SHARE and LIKE".
    • Boost the post for 1$ to you target audience so only they see it.
    • Your target audience will like the image .
    • then you as admin can invite the people who like the image to your fan page by clicking on their name when liked.
Cool strategy and a lot cheaper than paying for page likes as you are encouraging engagement which will give you lots of organic like as well.

Well the first attempt seemed to be an epic fail.

I ran the ad for about 3.5 days and got 3,277 reach with 83 click throughs.
Of that, I got a whopping 0 leads on the landing page.

After the first day, and with @pororo suggestion, I changed the appointment scheduling widget to a simple "get started" button with a signup form.

      Still no luck with that.

I'm really hoping for some insight on what I could do to get this ad to generate at least a few leads. With 83 click throughs I'm at 2.5% CTR and I would have hoped for 10% of those to generate leads... Is 8 leads out of 3,277 too much to expect?

@GJHancock the ad does have a 'Book Now' call to action, but the scroll of the preview window wouldnt let me screenshot it.

Ill look into this strategy. I have posted a few "quote" images on my FB page, but the audience is still so low that it doesnt get much engagement.

      Example:

There are a couple of things that comes to mind.

What's the idea of your ad? To book a coaching session?
That might be asking too much at first without any prior
    rapport.

Regarding your landing page, your form is not above the fold,
it should be the first thing visible, along with a strong headline.

look up at leadpages or clickfunnels for opt-in pages.

If I were you, here's what I'd suggest you do...

1- Build a lead magnet so you can build a list.

What are their problems, fears, roadblocks? Use that
to build a simple report, video, checklist, etc etc

2- After they opt-in, have a video on the thank you page
where you can bring in more details what the coaching session
is about and below the video the option to book.

The video should thank them for opt-in, when they should expect
the report, what are you going to deliver and start introducing
    the coaching session.

3- Have a follow up sequence where you build rapport and softly
have a CTA with the coaching session.

4- Have a retargeting campaign for people who did not opt-in with
either the same lead magnet or a different one.

5- Upload your list as a custom audience and advertise to them
    the coaching session.

Have a read here High Ticket Lead Generation - The SS Flood Funnel
that's exactly what you need, and Nick is top notch when it comes
    to FB
