I saw this mentioned in one of my newsletters I get & found it very useful.

PinGroupie - Pinterest Group Board Directory

The sites crawls "Group" Pinterest boards & finds active boards in various niches. You can search boards in categories (or keywords in title or description). You then filter by # of pins, collaborators, followers, likes & repins.

Last night I pinned a few pins from one of Pinterest boards to a related group board (not even the largest nor most active). I got likes, saves, repins & follows from a few people. I then went to those people's Pinterest page & in most of them found a related category board... which I then followed. Yep... I got a couple return follows already from "active Pinners & Repinners (those that weren't already following me). I also followed related boards of some of the Pinners on the group board even though they hadn't interacted with me... yet.

Just based on that initial success, I will now follow/join new related boards & plan on doing 3-5 daily pins on each group board. I feel pinning more would be spam. I have different niche Pinterest boards (& websites) so this PinGroupie resource is very valuable I can see.

some advice on getting invited to pin on a group board -

Thanks for sharing the information! We have had an account but have not really done much with it. I know that its a good market as research shows that they spend more than other social media platforms. Will give it a shot

Thanks for the share! Looks like a great tool.
With Pinterest, as long as you are active and pinning on a daily basis, even just a few, it can snowball into some amazing traffic (depending on what your pinning, of course).

You hit the nail on the head! Being active is the key to gaining more followers, likes and repins. And when people repin your stuff, there's the potential for all of their followers to repin it too. It can definitely cause a snowball effect.
