Facebook Insights?

Hey all,
I am very confused about Facebook Insights for my Business Page. I have a post that organically reached 1,520 people which is awesome and it shows 43 likes. When I click on on the individual post (under the post tab in Facebook Insights) it tells me that I actually have 178 likes and that 43 of them are "on post."

These discrepancies also happen with shares and comments. Why am I not able to see all my Likes, Comments and Shares?

    I could be wrong but it sounds like you have many likes on the shares of the posts. They would show on total likes, but not on the post on your page. Next to "Likes on Post," does it show "Likes on Shares"?

    Thanks for the reply! That's what I thought at first , but it's so confusing. That post I used in my example received 8 shares, but I can't see any of them. It's very possible what you are saying is true, but it seems odd that the admin of the Facebook Business page would have such a tough time getting these stats.

    I have seen variance in stats on our business pages, as well. It wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a social media tool (Hootsuite can run reports) or professional that could help you get a more accurate report of your page.
