Should I force registration on my Facebook ads?

Hey there-

Brand new to this site and forum so forgive me if this is a repeat post...

I'm a Realtor and have recently started running Facebook ads. I have force registration set up on my website to 0 clicks, so that as soon as they click the link on my Facebook ad they are brought to my website where they are forced to register before they can view the property.

I ran a $15 ad over three days and it reached 4,505 people, with 141 link clicks and 0 site registrations. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

  • Have you split tested with the force registration off?

Not yet, I'm going to try it on the next post and see how it goes!

I think this is a really great idea. Some people are instantly put off by having to register to view a listing and could be why you're not seeing results.

Thanks for the reply, I just figured not forcing them to register would result in zero registrations. I do marketing for a couple different teams....I ran a very similar ad ($15 over three days) for a different property with forced registration and it resulted in nearly 40 registrations! Maybe it just needs to be the right property?
