YouTube Introduces a 'Trending' Tab, Surfacing Viral Videos in Real Time

YouTube has introduced a new permanent fixture to the iOS, Android, and desktop versions of its service -- a 'Trending' tab that will surface viral videos in real time. Going forward, this will essentially be the home on the web for viral videos, especially videos that are going viral right at this very moment. (source: SEJ)

    I haven't tried exploiting this yet although it opens up the window to some possibilities one being creating a 'Viral Effect' to then gain real views if say you bought views ect.

    From the videos I've seen in there it seems they have some way of checking the quality and content of the video to give it the green flag for users to view. I know for a fact some videos that have been highly viral have not shown there so would be interesting to know how they pick and choose.

    Maybe Viral Autobots is using this. It has a YouTube trending menu that shows trending videos. We can post them to our Fanpage or schedule them for later. So, to answer your question, "yes," VA is using it. And, revenue is over $200,000 in 3? 4$ days!!!
