I wonder whether there is a tool that allows to spy on fb ads from companies in my niche ?
I know many of these for non fb ppc but none of them can find fb ads.
Any suggestions ?

My suggestion is to not bother spying, Facebook ad's are pretty transparent but for me things seem to work best when you go your own route as in the end finding out what your competitors are targeting will only see you posting ad's to users who have already be served similar content.

I serve ad's for multiple purposes and the key is to always drill down the demographic using the Facebook insights tool. Think like your customers and target pages they might be liking, or the incomes you expect them to be bringing home. All these factors can play a bigger role in seeing the success of your ad campaign.

Well I know who I wanna target and I know my targeting relatively well.
My goal in this is to do some research on the kinda marketing messages my competition use on fb ads.
I can analyze their funnels, but I was wondering whether I can see the part that comes before the funnel. Because it seems in my market many use fb and not adwords.

As far as tools go for spying on the actual Ad's they are posting this is not something I've currently looked into, however I'm sure there is a tool somewhere i've seen that will scrape the Headline and Tagline from the competitors ad's.

One free way of doing this I've found before it to simply make your browser a target user. Say you use Chrome normally, install Firefox and log into a fresh Facebook account. Then like and engage with your competitors, and also using the browser visit their website and make related searches in Google for Keywords they might target.

This work's as most ad's on facebook are served based on your activity/likes the same way in which you would target your current users of your ad's. You are simply becoming one of your target users but instead of seeing your ad's your going to see others and the wording they choose to use. Best of all it's free and would only involve a new facebook account, new browser (too make things easier) and perhaps a free (Or paid for) VPN to change your country if say you know they target US but your based in UK etc.
